  • The projects span clean energy, petroleum-related manufacturing, highways, railways and rural road connectivity, aimed at boosting infrastructure, improving energy access and creating employment opportunities in the state.

  • Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh on March 11, 2026 launched Bharat Tex 2026, India’s flagship global textile event, which is expected to become one of the largest integrated textile fairs in the world.
  • The event will be held from July 14 to July 17, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
  • It will showcase the entire textile value chain, ranging from fibre and yarn to fabrics, garments, technical textiles and sustainable innovations.
