Overview

The Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) is conducted annually by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for offering admission to the students in various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D programs offered by the University, its constituent units & affiliated Colleges / Institutes, respectively.

The IPU CET 2026 is held via online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode wherein students have to answer 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) within a period of 150 minutes. Candidates are required to note that the merit of the entrance test will be only valid for 1 year.

Eligibility Criteria

Students planning to appear in the entrance exam must have passed the qualifying examination in respective disciplines according to the IPU CET Eligibility Criteria 2026. To apply for the IPU CET exam 2026, candidates must be either Indian Nationals or Non-Indian Citizens. To seek admission in GGSIPU Delhi, students need to ensure that they satisfy the IPU CET exam eligibility criteria set by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

  • Educational Qualification: Pass 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: At least 50% aggregate in the best four subjects (including language).

The IPU CET BCA 2026 admit card will be released around mid to late April 2026 on the official website,  and candidates will need their application number and date of birth to download it, requiring a printed copy for the exam day, along with a valid photo ID.
